Brightening day, Lough Erne at Boa island
Original watercolour of Lough Erne at Boa island, Fermanagh. Painted on beautiful Canston 300 weight heavy paper.
This is the beautiful expansive stretch of lough Erne travelling from Kesh onto Boa Island. There are so many different moods to this part of the lake. I could paint this a hundred times and each time the atmosphere of the painting would be different.
I like to call this stretch “ The road to Joe’s”in memory of my beloved brother who lived in this part of Fermanagh.
